One thing to note: I did this on my bedroom floor, I would not recommend doing this, find a solid surface like a table to change your strings. I only did this for the purpose of recording.

This is a video on how to change your guitar strings and clean your guitar. Every guitarist needs to change their strings and this tutorial will show you how. One way to tell if you should change your strings is if you can see their very dirty or if the sound is more dull than they used to be

This is how I strenghten my fingers, around the 9th fret put your index finer on the bottom E string and put each  of your fingers on the frets after that and then move them in the formation I've shown up the strings. As your fingers get stronger you can move them up the frets closer to the machine heads and feel free to switch up the fromation of your fingers and which fingers you move first. This is a simple way to strenghten your fingers.

Another option is that you can buy a finger strenghtening device, I've never tried one so I can't say if they are good or bad

Finger Strength

What does it mean   and how to improve it

Finger strength. Every guitarist has heard of it but do you need know what it means?

Basically finger strength is how strong your fingers are and how well you can hold chords and for how long. Finger strength is something you build over time but you can do certain excersises to improve it. It is essential to have good finger strength to be a good guitarist so today I'll teach you a few ways to strenghten your fingers

Hammer on and pull off

Hammer ons and pull offs are two very important pieces of music and guitar playing so what are they?

Basically when you're playing a song and as you play a note you slap your finger onto a different fret of the string, without taking your other finger off or playing another note, this is known as a hammer on. A hammer on is signified by a forward slash e.g 4/6 (shown below)

This is an example of a hammer on in music, I also have a video below demonstrating hammer ons and pull offs

Pull offs are performed by pulling your finger off a string to play another fret or open string without playing another note

Below is an example of pulling off, I also have a video below demonstrating hammer ons and pull offs
