Hello! Welcome to Artists and Articles, a music website designed by me, Matthew! I love music and if you want to find out more about me and the site read the About page. I'm gonna start this website off with a little bit about my music background and current guitar. Well, to start I currently play a C.Giant standard acoustic guitar. I am currently saving up for an electric guitar but I've yet to finalise details on the make and price, I'll post about that when more when the time comes around! I have loved music from a young age and my dad adores music to. He raised me on everything from David Bowie to Wyclef Jean and now i have a very diverse music taste and I like every form of music. I played guitar when i was young for about 5 years but stopped when i was 10... god only knows why but I did, I picked it up again last year in 2014 when i was 14. I believed I have progressed a lot in a year but I am far from an expert musician or anything of the sort, I'm just a guy with a guitar, a keyboard and a love for music.
This is my C.Giant acoustic. Nothing spectacular, she's old now... I estimate shes around 10 years old, I'm actually not the first owner, I bought it second hand off a guy who played in a band so its good guitar. I can do a few riffs and a lot of songs and I adore to entertain people with my music! One of my main downfalls is my inability to have a strumming pattern while i sing which is a skill I have yet to develop. I love this guitar I've been using her for arounf 7 or 8 years now.
I love Ed Sheeran, Eminem and the Arctic Monkeys. I can't even choose a favourite song because I just love everything. I've been to 2 Ed Sheeran concerts and plan on going to an Arctic Monkeys website as soon as they come back to Ireland. My favourite genres would have to be, rap/hip-hop, EDM, rock, alternative and a little pop.
As I said I'm not a music expert, I just want to express my love for the artists and the industry.
